The Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium is a student-run annual event that is held on the University of Alberta campus in the spring. It is designed to allow graduate students within the faculty to present their research to other students in an academic setting.

This year's event promises to be informative and exciting, with six valuable professional development workshops, two high-profile keynote speakers, a panel discussion on zero waste communities, and invited talks. Up to 500 attendees are expected. Graduate students from all the departments will present more than 110 abstracts in moderated oral and poster presentation sessions.

This symposium is organized by an inter-departmental committee with representatives from Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
